Book (SET) Review: “Dad School” & “Mom School” by

With school starting just around the corner, “Dad School”
and “Mom School” are the perfect addition to any classroom or library. In this
adorable set, the stories are told from the perspective of young children,
imagining what their parents might have learned at “Dad” and “Mom” School.
In the book, “Dad School”, a little boy imagines his dad
learns all his amazing skills such as giving piggyback rides, making ice cream
sundaes, and fixing boo-boos by attending “Dad” School. In the book, “Mom
School” a little girl imagines her mom learns all her amazing skills like
baking cupcakes, baiting a fishing hook, and learning how to build forts out of
couch cushions by attending “Mom” School.
Young readers will love to let their imagination soar, as
they read about the role-reversal story in which parents act like kids. These
books are great for early readers, with short sentences, simple wording, and
great illustrations. “Dad School” and “Mom School” also teaches children to
